Winter Warmth

Don’t be caught out by the cold

Free Home visit

“Keeping warm, keeps you well” is the Council’s message to older people and those with a Long Term Health Condition as part of a campaign which provides free home visits for advice and information on heating, insulation, benefits, and health.

Richmond Council will reach out to older people and those with a Long Term Health Condition across Richmond upon Thames before the biting, wintry weather truly kicks in as part of its ‘Winter Warmth’ campaign, which launches on, Wednesday October1st.

During our free home visits we will either help take action immediately or refer you for help with the following:

  • Grants for heating, insulation and boiler repairs
  • Free radiator reflector panels and draught proofing to keep heat in your home
  • Advice on guided walks and healthy lifestyle opportunities in the borough
  • Advice on getting out and about, and getting involved in the community
  • Free smoke and carbon monoxide alarms if required
  • Free specialist advice on lowering your heating bills whilst keeping warm
  • Benefits checks

To keep you and your home warm this winter arrange for a free home visit for advice and information by contacting our home visitors on:
