SPADE Helps to Bring Civic Pride to Richmond!

posted in: Latest News | 0

Spade is now open for the 2012 season. Though we were closed over the winter, we were busy applying for funding and grants to enable us to continue this project into 2012 and beyond. We were very pleased to be awarded some funding through the Civic Pride grant to support our work. The Civic Pride fund is for projects that make public places more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive, and which help to build stronger communities. That is exactly what Richmond SPADE does. We never know when we will need support like this, and we would like to thank the local authority for this round of grants.

The Civic Pride fund supports lots of valuable community projects and activities and we hope that this great work continues.
