Job Club

The programme of moving people from Incapacity Benefit onto Employment Support Allowance means that an increasing number of disabled people will now be looking for employment.  The Job Club at Richmond AID  supports disabled people seeking employment in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

What the Service Provides

The Job Club  is run with 4 staff, two of whom are experienced Disability Employment Advisors.  The weekly sessions provide advice and guidance, supporting local disabled people to gain employment.  Services we provide for individuals include:

  • Support with CV writing
  • Help to access volunteering opportunities
  • Help with job searching and applications
  • Guidance and practical sessions on preparing for interview
  • Help to access guidance on in-work benefits advice
  • Help to access legal resources and assistance
  • Monthly jobs bulletin

Current Job Club Availability

As of the 23rd August 2011, the Job Club is currently full.  We can put you on the waiting list for the job club but can still register you with our Employment Project and be looking out for suitable opportunities.  As soon as places become available we will let everybody know!
