As part of our Employment Project we have launched ‘Stepping Stone’, a programme which supports disabled job seekers in the borough to move towards employment and greater independence and confidence. A short work placement can provide the stepping stone back into work for many disabled job seekers who have been out of the game for a little while. We work with local employers to match up their needs with our job seekers that are signed up to our project. Two experienced advisors are on hand to set up and supervise a short placement.
