Here is the dialogue – the transcription – of the video;

What was your situation before coming to Richmond AID and what difficulties were you facing?

First I had the DLA form to fill out and I’m not very clever with forms and also the DWP decided after a medical assessment that my case should go to a tribunal.

How did you find out about Richmond AID?

Through Jonathon who both worked and volunteered at Richmond AID.

How did Richmond AID elevate or resolve these issues?

Initially they helped me to fill out the DLA form, which meant I got DLA. They were very helpful over the tribunal, they secured postpone for me, tried to get representation for me and made four or five phone calls on my behalf to the DWP.

Did you find the help and support you received useful and supportive?

Yes as far as I’m concerned Richmond AID has been absolutely brilliant. As I say they made phone calls on my behalf and helped me fill out those really complicated forms. Its excellent.

Has there been a resolution or outcome to the help you have received? Was this a good outcome and did it help to make this a bit easier?

As far as the DLA was concerned it was a good outcome because I filled out the form and got the DLA. And I’ve had another form just recently and it’s going to be renewed till 2015. Sadly which was a bit of a blow with the DSA I got turned down through the tribunal which in on way what was done by Richmond AID. They were absolutely brilliant as far as I was concerned.
