We have a very exciting event coming up in December!

Join us for drinks and mince pies at our very own awards ceremony on Saturday 3rd December 2016, celebrating United Nations’ International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

We will be celebrating how local disabled people within the Richmond Borough have overcome barriers in their lives.

Many disabled people experience barriers that make it much harder to do the things that non-disabled people may take for granted. For example – travelling on a bus, shopping in the high street, studying, socialising or getting a job.

We will be collecting nominations from (or on behalf of) people who have broken barriers which fall into categories such as sports, access, leisure and much more. You can nominate yourself, or someone else.

Deadline for nominations is 5pm on Monday 21st November 2016.
